Bottoms up! Get ready for a rollicking good time in support of a great cause! For the fourth year in a row, we’ll be teaming up with the PA Prostate Cancer Coalition and hosting our Bottoms Up for Prostate Cancer event on Saturday, April 7, from 6 to 10 p.m. This year, we’re keeping it casual — it’s a blue jean gala! Join us for amazing drinks, food and music! Have fun and do good at the same time.
Over the past three years, we’ve raised $30,000 for prostate cancer. Help us make it to our goal of $50,000 this year! Get your tickets here.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Craft breweries, including: Stoudts, Locust Lane and Allagash.
- Gin, vodka and more from Revivalist Spirits and Tommy Rotter Spirits.
- All you can eat, including tapas, a fry station, select oysters from Gordon’s Oysters and much more.
- Live band with Bill Hake and Friends.
- Caricaturist the Amazing Spaghetti.
- Dr. Mike from Fox 29 and Steve Morrison from Preston and Steve (a prostate cancer survivor).
Make a great night even better: $229 gets you two tickets to the event, a room at The Desmond for the night and Sunday brunch the next day.
What’s the best thing about this event? “It brings awareness and money to prostate cancer awareness, treatment and prevention,” said Dr. Mike of Fox 29, who will be helping host Bottoms Up. “There are two kinds of people on the planet … I like to hang around with the people who contribute, and at the end of their lives can say they made the world a better place by being here. I’m excited that Steve Morrison is going to be the head MC. He is my dearest friend and was my patient.”
